Features

Materials

The Juice Fountain Elite’s outer shell is made from the high grade aluminum and zinc and is completely die-cast. The interior components feature a titanuim-plated cutting disc and a stainless steel micro-mesh filter with over 40,000 filtering pores. All parts are dishwasher safe.

Motor

The 1000 watt, high-grade motor features a built-in electronic smart chip that increases power to the cutting disc under heavy load. At high speed, it spins at 13,000 RPM, pushing the fruit’s pulp against the filter with intense pressure. The Juice Fountain Elite can make an 8 oz glass of juice in just 5 seconds.

Capacity

The circular 3” feed-tube allows for efficient processing of whole fruits and vegetables without pre-cutting, slicing or dicing. It is positioned over the center of the cutting disc for better balance and more consistent results.

Cutter and Filter

The Italian-made, stainless steel cutter’s diagonal knife blades first grind the fruit into pulp. Then, 115 surrounding, conical knives grate the pulp into minute particles and propel them against the micro-mesh filter’s 40,000 strainer pores. Smaller particles, combined with superior filtration, maximizes yield.

Speed

There are two settings: a whisper-quiet 6,500 RPM for juicing leafy vegetables and softer fruits such as watermelon and oranges, and 13,000 RPM for denser fruits and vegetables like apples and carrots.

Cleaning

The Juice Fountain Elite has only four parts, each engineered with a smooth, rounded shape for easy cleaning. They rinse quickly in the sink using the included custom cleaning brush, and are top-shelf dishwasher safe.

Innovations

Ten times faster and 30% more efficient than traditional juicers, the Juice Fountain Elite features a patented stabilizing knife as well as a feed-tube that ensures pulp is propelled evenly against all sides of the juice filter.

User Reviews of the Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL

The following are a sumary of genuine user review comments made by peolpe who have purchased this juicer:

Pros:

  • Big feed chute. You can process 3 regular size carrots at once or three medium apples or oranges (stacked in the feed chute). No cutting needed. The chute is 3" in Dia and 7" tall.

  • Disassembles quickly. No screws. Fits easily in the dishwasher.

  • It looks very nice on the counter with the stainless steel construction.

  • It's easy to clean. If you don't think this matters, you've never used a juicer. Every part can go in the dishwasher. Parts that get heavy exposure to juice are brushed steel, so they don't stain.

  • It's quiet. Considering the powerful moter this juicer has, it's very quiet to operate.

  • It's got a really fine screen. This means that there's no pulp in your beautifully colored, clear juices.

  • It has two speeds - fast for hard fruits and veggies like carrots, ginger, and apples; slow for soft ones like grapes, berries, peaches, tomatoes, and peeled citrus. No compromise.

Cons:

  • Probably oxidizes juice more than most centrifugal juicers due to high rpms. Drink this juice quickly!

  • Creates a lot more foam than the juiceman & omega 1000. You have to wait for the juice to settle from the foam.

  • Pulp is not quite as dry as Juiceman nor Omega 1000, so I what I am saving on time I am probably spending a little more in produce. But not much more.
